Using professional equipment and software, Our aim is to convert your precious video tapes to latest digital formats with the highest picture and sound quality.
What quality will the converted footage be?
When it comes to video quality, one of the deciding elements is the quality of the original recording & condition of the actual tape. In essence, if the original tape was stored in poor conditions or was recorded in long play (LP) or extended play (EP) modes, the quality of the digital transfer will not be as good when compared to converting a tape in perfect condition.
We convert your video tapes to the most compatible MP4 digital format at the same resolution as the original recording, there will usually be no loss of quality. Generally VHS, VHS-C, 8mm, Hi-8, and MiniDV have a Standard Definition Resolution of 720×480 with a 4:3 aspect ratio. Converting Mini DV tapes to digital are captured in High Definition at 1080p with a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Our video transfer service creates MP4 digital files from your old video’s or DVD’s.
MP4 files are compact in size & compatible with both Apple Mac and Windows PC, but should you require we are able to output your files to AVI, MOV, MPEG-2 or any other file format you prefer. The files we produce can be edited, emailed, duplicated and uploaded to steaming services like YouTube & Vimeo.
Currently Mp4 digital video can be stored on a memory stick, hard drive, or even in the cloud. Most modern TVs have a USB port on them so you can simply plug a flash drive into your TV to watch your MP4 files as home movies.
If requested, we can supply (at extra cost) the appropriately sized flash drive or hard drive for your new MP4 digital files. Alternatively we can put them on to your own supplied media at no extra charge.

We can convert each of your old tapes to its own DVD or combine multiple tapes onto a single DVD, creating a custom chapter for each. DVDs can include custom menus, chapters and cases. We use dual layer DVDs that can hold up to 4 hours of footage in total.
